After she had greeted all the birds, she lifted her hands and most of them flew off. Two starlings rested on the horse's head, though, refusing to move on. She looked down at her clothes, and sighed. "Suddenly missing kitten," she said with a laugh as she pulled out a handkerchief to try and wipe some of the bird mess off her tunic. "I had to reassure the bats though, some of them wanted to wake to greet us, but they need their rest, hinting has been thin this week."
