The new girl was brought in a the start of class to introduce herself. It had been a few years since Chloe and Adrien had seen her, but even seeing her walk with confidence and a bit of a swagger could not hide that this was Lulu de Morcerf Yamamoto. The formerly shy young girl flipped her hair back over one shoulder as she walked in, her chin out, head high. Until she saw Chloe and Adrien. That was when it was clear how much her poise was an act. To everyone. Because the cool aloof smile fell away into a genuine one.
She hadn't realized this was their school! Oh, she had thought she might encounter them here at some point, but their school? THEIR CLASS? How cool was that?!
Not that she could let that stop her plans, of course. But nothing said she couldn't enjoy herself along the way.
When she realized the rest of the class was looking, she went cool and aloof again, as though they hadn't all just seen behind the mask. She pushed her hair back again, and smoothed her neat and expensive looking blue dress. A small hair pin, like an egg with a purple X was clipped to her hair, and she wore a lovely necklace and bracelet set that only Chloe and Adrien would be able to suspect she made herself. She had been making high grade professional looking jewelry when she was ten. And she's only gotten better.
"Apparently I will be in your class from now on," she said, giving the class a smile that would have been convincing if not for the real one she'd shown just before. The one that said this smile was as fake as Lila. "I hope that we can all be friends. I am Lulu de Morcerf Yamamoto. It is a pleasure to meet you all."
She gave them all a curtsey, then smiled at Sabrina with a fake winning smile. "Do you think I could sit here with the two of you?" Like. Right. In. Between. That would suit her just fine. "I haven't seen cousin Chloe in ages, and I can just tell already that you'll be a wonderful help in getting me caught up. Maybe we can all study together. You. Me. Chloe. Adrien?" She glanced back at him as she said that. And he matched her smile with one of his own.
Sabrina, desperate, looked to Chloe, expecting her to tell this new girl to take a hike.
Seeing that, but pretending she hadn't, she leaned in and whispered to Chloe, where Sabrina could hear her as well, "I have a ring I made that I think would suit you perfectly."
