One of the women helped her up gently. Another held out a glass of... something liquid. It was greyish.
"Welcome, sister," the one who helped her said. "Thank the Darkness you are here. We are sorry for whatever caused you to travel such, but bless the Darkness that it brought you safely here."
The woman was tanned with leathery skin, and dark brown eyes. Her black hair was peppered with silver and pulled back into a very practical bun. Practical was a good word for her long skirt and long sleeved shirt. They were both made of good sturdy material, though they were patched and mended here and there. All of the few people with her were dressed in practical durable clothing. None of it was notably pretty, but it all wore well and looked like it would protect them from the cold.
One of the males reached over with a jacket that was clearly used, but clean. "Lady," he said, respectfully.
